online Counseling in Idaho
Guided, Heart-Centered Support for Highly Sensitive People and Those Healing from Trauma or Burnout
Understand your inner world so you can move from overwhelm, negative self-talk, or relationship difficulties to a life rooted in clarity and trusting yourself.
Starting can feel like a big step, especially if you’re used to holding things together on your own. My role is to meet you exactly where you are and make the process safe, clear, and human.
How it Works
Finding the right counselor is important. Here’s what the process looks like:
1
Start with a free consultation.
Schedule a free 20-minute phone call to discuss what’s bringing you in, what you’re hoping for, and whether we feel like a good fit.
2
Collaborative, personalized sessions.
You are the expert on you. Together, we’ll clarify what matters most and shape our sessions around your needs and goals.
3
Sustainable, supported growth.
Counseling moves at your pace. We’ll create space to reflect, integrate, and make meaningful changes.
Rates & Insurance
Therapy is an investment in your well-being, and I want the process to be as clear and accessible as possible. I work at Dr. April Watts’ private practice, under her supervision and billing structure, and am in-network with Blue Cross, St. Luke’s Health Plan, and Mountain Health Co-Op.
If I am in-network with your insurance, your plan will be billed first, and you will be responsible for any copays, deductibles, or remaining amounts not covered by your plan.
If you have out-of-network benefits, I can provide a superbill to support reimbursement. Many clients use Mentaya, a helpful tool that makes understanding your coverage and submitting claims easier.

The No Surprises Act Effective January 2022
You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical and mental health care will cost. Under the law, healthcare providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services. You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services. You can ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you agree to a service. If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or photo of your Good Faith Estimate. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate under The No Surprises Act, visit: www.cms.gov/nosurprises
Note: If you work with me, you will receive a Good Faith Estimate to review and sign before our first session.

All sessions are online using a secure, HIPAA-compliant platform called Simple Practice. You’ll receive a private, unique link before each session.
-
The first session is a chance for us to get to know one another. I’ll ask questions about what brings you to counseling and what you hope to gain, helping us establish direction and clarity.
-
There’s no one-size-fits-all timeline. Many clients begin with weekly or biweekly sessions. Some stay for a few months, others longer. We’ll continually check in and make sure counseling is supporting your goals.
Over time, you may realize that you’ve achieved what brought you to counseling in the first place and are ready to conclude. I want you to know right now that that’s the day I’m working for and I’m here to support you. You never have to be afraid to tell me when you’re done with counseling.

My session fees are $180 for the initial session and $150 for each session after that. These rates apply to clients paying out of pocket and those using out-of-network benefits, for whom I can provide a superbill to submit for reimbursement.

Yes. I'm in-network with Blue Cross, St. Luke’s Health Plan, and Mountain Health Co-Op.
If I'm in-network with your insurance, your plan will be billed directly, and you'll only be responsible for your copay, deductible, or any remaining amount your plan doesn't cover.
If you have a different insurance provider but have out-of-network benefits, I can provide you with a monthly superbill (a detailed receipt) that you can submit to your insurer for possible reimbursement. Many clients find Mentaya helpful for checking coverage and submitting out-of-network claims.
